Architectural Conservation Consultant
Conducted visual inspection and non-destructive testing on various historic sites and national monuments around Singapore. Responsibilities included defect mapping and inventory of historic elements, reviewing and contributing to dilapidation surveys, researching archival records and books, leading a R&D project using WUFI, and learning how to conduct non-destructive testing with Ultrasonic Pulse Echo, Pilodyn, Timber Resistograph (DRMS), Infra-Red Thermography, Ground Penetrating Radar Scans, and Microwave Moisture Tomography. Worked on-site and in-office with an international group of colleagues.
